Ribbon Cutting

We enjoyed everyone who came to our ribbon cutting last night. A big thanks to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce for coming and showing support for my new business and welcoming us as a new member. Now I'm on the topic of my new business I would like to give a few more thanks. :) Thanks to my husband, Taylor, for supporting me through every crazy idea I have and all the hard work and hours he has put into renovating the shop. He would work 12 hour shifts and come straight to the shop to work late into the night... and then do it all over again the next day. He started everything in May, so he is the happiest for Dot Dot's to finaling get up and running. (ha) Dot Dot's would not have happened if it wasn't for him and I'm very grateful. Also, our parents, Mrs. Lori (my mother in law) has graciously accepted me into her hair salon with open arms and my father in law for helping us through the renovations. My parents have helped a lot with renovations and our kids. My mom drives 45 minutes everyday to watch my babies for me to be able to work. From friends helping us set up shop to Megan Hart coming behind me with my short attention span finishing things and getting them organized and designing the face of Dot Dot's, I am thankful. It takes a team to get things done and I for sure cannot take all the credit. Lastly, (but most important,) I thank God for guiding me and for sending so many awesome people in my life to show the support when I need it most. I hope through my new business I can touch lives through Him and grow new relationships with my customers.

Now back to last night, it was a good turn out, and the cake.. the cake was pretty good. We had door prizes of selfie sticks, sun glasses, and Dot Dot's canvas totes. Along with our 20% off sale we had drawings for gift certificates. Thanks to all of our customers, because Dot Dot's would not survive without you and I hope you know how much you mean to us!
